At HUK Coburg's 17 m long fountain, a radially cut and vertically slightly inclined solid granite wall 9.5 m long spans the 5.54 m wide pool. Because of the inclination of the wall, the water emerging from the top edge falls freely as a waterfall on the concave side, whilst on the convex side it flows as a water wall. The counterpart to the granite wall is a 4.5 m granite disc, which turns weightlessly at the end of the pool on a very thin film of water.
Due to a cut off segment it becomes a floating disc with changing fountains, which above all encourages the interaction of children. It can be entered via the edge of the pool.
